Alan Blackwell

Alan Blackwell has coached Boys’ High School Soccer at Mentor College for 8 years and his academic commitment is in the Visual Arts Department where he teaches studio, art theory, and art history.
Blackwell holds the Preliminary Coaching Badge from the English Football Association, the United States Soccer Federation C Level License and the London Football Association Goalkeeping Coaches Certificate.
He was a four year soccer scholarship athlete at West Virginia Wesleyan College in the USA and was also an NCAA Division-1 assistant coach in both men’s and women’s soccer at American University, Washington D.C. He is a founding director of London Soccer Academy here in Canada and previously, Premier Soccer Association, a Washington DC based soccer camp company that ran day and overnight camps for youth soccer players ages 5 – 18 years old.

Coaching Staff

Our organization is committed to the professional development of all staff members to be educated on creating a culture of safety and positivity. All coaches have completed their "Commit to Kids - C3P Certification from the Canadian Center of Child Protection ".  All coaching staff have a valid Vulnerable Sector Police Check on file with LSA.
